This project was about creating and experimenting with a virtual reality interface for Prime Video on Apple's Vision Pro, where I used design tools like Figma and followed Apple's guidelines to learn more about user-friendly and immersive interfaces.
Designing for XR (Extended Reality) is about creating user experiences that go beyond flat screens and into immersive, 3D environments. XR includes Virtual Reality (VR), where you are completely surrounded by a virtual world, and Augmented Reality (AR), where digital content is overlaid onto the real world. Mixed Reality (MR) blends the two, allowing virtual and real-world elements to interact.
I see entertainment and streaming platforms like Prime Video entering the XR space soon, transforming how we watch content. In the future, I imagine immersive cinema experiences where movies play out around us, interactive content that lets us explore different storylines, and virtual social viewing where we watch with friends in a shared virtual space. This shift will make media consumption more engaging, and I’m excited to contribute to this evolution.

I worked on this project independently, diving into spatial design to better understand how user experience (UX) works in 3D environments. I explored VisionOS designs, which gave me valuable insights into how UX is shaped for spatial design, helping me apply those principles to my work.
